At the end of September 2017 The Police Rehabilitation Centre at Flint House, Goring -on-Thames contacted Zenith Verandas as they wanted a covered outdoor area in their idyllic gardens.
The canopy selected was a 5m x 3m Simplicity Series 6 Veranda Canopy with 6mm clear toughened glass. The framework is manufactured in aluminium and was powdercoated in grey to match the surrounding buildings. In keeping with the surroundings the Victorian Upgrade option was also included to consist of gallows brackets and column bases.
The project also incorporated Zenith’s landscaping service where they dug out and levelled an existing flowerbed and installed patio slabs to the match the existing pathway.
Zenith’s install team carried out the site surveys, produced drawings, prepared risk assessments and method statements prior to installation to ensure a safe working environment for the project.
Based in Wokingham, Zenith provide a nationwide service installing tensile canopy structures, glass and polycarbonate canopies in standard modular sizes but can produce bespoke sizes to special order. Brian Richards, The Estates Manager who coordinated the project was delighted with the Veranda Canopy and said,
